- Shikshana Prasaraka Mandali (SPM), the parent body of S.P. College (SPC), Pune has established Late Prin. B. V. Bhide Foundation for Education and Research in Chemistry, Ayurveda and Allied Sciences.
- The Foundation is originated from Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Analytical Chemistry, an autonomous job oriented course.
- The emphasis is on the application / use of Chemistry, Microbiology and Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry in different fields especially in Ayurveda, Food and water.
